The Last Stop

June 7, 2008

We drove from Boston to Niagara Falls today.  We’re nearing the end of our jouney but we’re still having a blast.  We walked down by the Falls for a few mintues and I got this fun picture.  We’ll do more exploring tomorrow.

Posting Delay

June 6, 2008

Sorry for the delay in posting over the last few days.  In addition to it being really hard to type without fingers, something about our hotel internet has not liked me putting up pictures of myself.  I am thinking of filing a species descrimination suit against them.  Never fear though.  As soon as I’m at […]

Historic Boston

June 6, 2008

Today we saw a few of the more historic Boston sites today.  We took the subway down to see Paul Revere’s home and the Old North Church where they signaled that the British were coming.  They had some funny pew boxes that the congregation would sit in because the building wasn’t heated.  I sat down […]

Fun in Boston

June 5, 2008

Today was really cool.  We went to the JFK Museum in the morning.  They had a really cool glass concourse that was probably 100 feet high with a view of the ocean from every angle so I climbed up to take in the whole view.  Then we took the subway out to Harvard.  When we […]

Scranton, PA

June 4, 2008

Today we drove from Philly to Boston but on the way we took a side trip to Scranton, PA.  Chris and Melissa are big fans of a TV show called The Office.  If you ask me it is ridiculous to go out of your way to visit a town that is supposed to be the […]

A Day in Philly

June 3, 2008

Today was a really fun day.  We spent the morning seeing the sites in historic Philadelphia.  If you ever get the chance, it is really easy and pretty cool.  All of the big sites are right next to each other.  We walked a few blocks from our hotel to the visitors center.  Then we crossed […]

Road Trip: Driving Day

June 2, 2008

Today was really all about driving too (we’ve covered 980 miles so far) but we made lots of fun side trips.  As we drove through the vast Pennsylvania wilderness we realized that we’d be passing within about 35 miles of Gettysburg so we decided to drive down and see the famous battlefield.  It was an […]

Road Trip

June 1, 2008

I’m out and about again!  My friends Chris & Melissa let me tag along on their road trip.  We’re going to cover over 2,500 miles in 8 days.  The plan is to go through Philadelphia on our way to Boston.  Then we’re going to go through Niagara Falls and Canada on the way back. Today […]
